Privacy Policy

What Bunty Thinks is operated by NodeStreak (pvt) ltd ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use whatbuntythinks.com, why, and the choices you have. Contact: support@whatbuntythinks.com.

What we collect

• The chat you upload. We read the file once to extract the messages, sender names and timestamps. The original file is not stored. For Instagram and Messenger you upload screenshots instead: our AI provider reads the text in them, and we delete the screenshots as soon as they're read (within an hour at most). Only the extracted messages are kept.
• Your choices in the setup: chat type, which participant you are, the relationship label, your optional question and the report language.
• Your email address, to send you your report and related service emails.
• A cookie that lets this browser open your reports without an account. We store only a hashed version of it.
• Payment records for purchases. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.

How we use it

• To generate your report and its statistics.
• To email you when your report is ready and about your purchases.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data, do not use your chats to train our own AI models, and never contact anyone in your chat.

Other people in your chat

Your chat contains messages from other people. You may only upload conversations you are part of. We process their messages only to write your report, and we never contact them or show them anything.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service:

• Hosting and database: Hostinger (website) and Supabase (database).
• AI processing: DeepSeek (China) — receives the chat text needed to write the report (with contact details, links, secrets and card numbers removed first), and the screenshots you upload so it can read them. It never receives your email, payment details or IP address. See our AI Policy. DeepSeek's own privacy policy governs how it handles that data.
• Email: Resend. Payments: Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record).

How long we keep it

• Uploaded files: not stored; parsed in memory. Screenshots: deleted as soon as they're read, within an hour at most.
• Chat messages and statistics: deleted automatically 7 days after upload.
• Reports: deleted automatically 45 days after they were made. We email you the full report so you can keep your own copy.
• Payment records: as long as tax law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can delete any report from your account page; that deletes the chat and all reports made from it immediately. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email us to exercise these rights.

Children

The service is not for anyone under 16. Do not upload chats involving minors in a romantic context.
